Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Intimate Vitality Collective is a cash-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service. A superbill may be provided upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Why are labs completed before the visit?
Labs are an important part of the intake process. They help provide a clearer picture of your hormone, metabolic, thyroid, vitamin, and overall health markers when clinically appropriate. Reviewing labs before or during your visit allows your care plan to be more personalized and may help avoid multiple visits that are not clinically necessary.
When should I complete my labs?
When labs are included or recommended, please complete them 7–10 days before your appointment whenever possible. This allows enough time for results to return before your visit.
Can I use recent labs from another provider?
Yes. Recent, relevant labs may be reviewed when available. Additional labs may still be recommended depending on your symptoms, goals, and treatment plan.
What if my lab results are not back before my visit?
Your appointment may still be used to review symptoms, history, and next steps. If lab results are not available in time, a follow-up or separate lab review may be needed.
Are prescriptions included?
Prescription medication costs are separate from the visit fee. If medication is recommended, the cost depends on the medication, pharmacy, and drug benefit coverage.
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
At this time, Intimate Vitality Collective does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. Patients enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid should contact the practice before booking to determine whether services can be provided.
What states do you serve?
We currently serve patients in Maryland and Delaware, with Washington, D.C. coming soon.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that appointments be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments missed without prior notice, may be subject to a cancellation or no-show fee.
Ready to feel like yourself again?
You don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong or which service you need. That’s what your Discovery Call is for.
